I believe in giving the next guy a chance so I bought one. If nothing else they say it will play regular DVDs at higher definition. I am for that. I have hundreds of them.

Sony always pulls this crap of proprietary marketing and it did not work when they faced off with VHS and it won't work here. There will be some one that makes a play all device and I hope it is the makers of VMD. Its guys like them that always force the price down and give you more.
