Poll: Where do you get your HD from?

We got back into polls recently and commenter Larry had more than one great idea for a poll. So we are going to take his suggestion and ask you where you get your HD from. So do us a favor, let us know how you get the bulk of your HD content. If you have more than one source -- who doesn't -- then just pick the one with the most content and leave a comment with details.
Comcast cable is technically where I get the bulk of my content from. Next would be Blu-ray followed by the occasional "internet acquisition"
I currently get most of my HD content from Dish Networks because they have more programming for this then anyone else at present. I had it with Brighthouse and not only did they only have about 14 HD channels, it was a lousy service. Never had a problem with dish. I also get HD-DVD's and BluRay discs.

Charter...I want DirecTV so bad, but my apartment manager will not allow us to install a dish. They say it can be installed on a patio/balcony, which I don't have. Even if I did it wouldn't have a clear view of the southern sky :(

I have a TiVo S3 and a PS3, both can stream other content from my PC.
For TV OTA only. I have had HD cable before but seems all the content is reruns of OTA or boring shows. I have since canceled my cable subscription and rely on MythTV to record all my HDTV.
For Movies HD-DVD just cause the price is right. BD is to much $$ for me right now.
Screwing Comcast's HD fee by getting it over Clear QAM, yes I only get the "locals" but there is always fun looking for the VOD on different channels and occasionally I hit the porn jackpot!
I have had HD service with Mediacom cable in Springfield MO, Dish Network, DirecTV, BrightHouse in Tampa FL, and I just recently moved to an area in Tampa were I can get FiOS. I have to say that FiOS seems to be the best so far. Unfortunately they aren't very competetive on the number of HD channels but most of the programming I watch is on the local channels so about 70% of my tv viewing is in HD.
For stuff on the major TV networks (and this is most of the HD stuff I watch) it's OTA. Everything else is through DISH Network.

I've been waiting for Uverse to become available in my area, but AT&T is really taking their time. I'm in a major part of Southern California too.
Strictly OTA and PS3 (BD from Netflix). Compression artifacts from TWC sucks and I really do not want a dish off my home.
I use cable for the time being. I really want DirecTV, but they don't offer the locals in HD in my area and I refuse to lose my HD locals. Yes, I realize I could just up a heap HD antenna, but i'm lazy. I literally check DirecTV's local HD offering like every month or so. If they ever offer it in my area, I will switch ASAP.
If one answers the question yet doesn't know what HD is really defined to be or if their provider is actually presenting it in an unadulterated fashion, what good is the poll?
And how come pre-recorded optical disks (hello, HD DVD and Blu-ray) isn't represented in this HD poll? Maybe this should be limited to HDTV.

I get my national non-network HD from DirecTV, but I use an antenna to pick up my local, network HD feeds because DirecTV still can't seem to get those right (but there have been quite a few problems with DirecTV's MGM HD, SciFi Channel HD and Science Channel HD as well).
SKY HD and Multi satellite HD here in the UK / Europe.
I put other because I use both cable and OTA. Some of my OTA channels aren't on cable and sometimes (depending on weather) come in clearer.
I get it from Comcast, Blu-ray and my buddy.

You need to add a couple of options:
1) I get HD it by stretching my regular TV signal to fit my widescreen
2) I bought an HDTV, so all my signals are automatically HD.

Use to be FIOS, boy those were the days, now its comcrap.
OTA looks a lot better than anything I see at the stores. Also there are a LOT of HD (or darn close) podcasts coming out. It's getting harder to ignore guys. Hmmmmm?
I love the usenet comment. How many separate message headers make up one movie?
Yeah, if they had to put all the posts together manually I doubt anyone would do it. Theses days with Easynews and NZBDrop, it's all automatic, just click and enjoy.
Or at least that's what I've been told.
Comcast never disconnected the standard cable of the previous occupant, so I can't get HD without actually becoming a customer. Satellite location would be located too front and center, the Condo association would not like that. FIOS is not available yet in my 'hood. I use my Wii more than my PS3. And yet I have a high-end 46 inch 1080p Sony Bravia. Does that make my posting privelage revokable?
I get most of my content OTA but also watch get non-broadcast HD from Charter.
I watch live HD over the air. I watch time-shifted stuff through my Apple TV. Don't ask how I get HD downloads.
How do you get HD downloads on your AppleTV???!!!! :)

I'm from Germany and there are *no* HDTV channels around (not really, anyway, if you don't count 2 Pay-TV channels) - so I'm stuck with the Internet. ;-)
HD DVD only.
I have Time Warner HD, but I get most of my HD content from Usenet. For example, we watch Heroes (720p, 5.1, mkv) via downloads and the quality is much better than what i get thru the cable company. Add in that the commercials are cut, and it's my preferred way of enjoying by far. Bluray players are too expensive right now, but I just enjoyed Rattatouille via usenet in full bluray quality and it's the best thing i've ever watched on my HDTV.
Now if Time Warner offered Foodnetwork HD and Mythbusters in HD, i'd be singing a different story.

I have Cablevision, I Have it hooked up to my Mac Via FireWire and Recored all of my HDTV on that, and watch it on my Computer. I Am pleased by Cablevisions HDTV lineup, i just recently got it and they have added 4 new HD Channels since then. I Currently Do not own a HDTV but looking to get one Soon so Stuck to the Computer for now.
