I was not planning on keeping the $5/mo hd pack anyways, but it is nice to still have these 2 channel stay in the $10/mo pack.  <br><br>To the above comments, this is for everyone, new subscribers and existing, however, as a new subscriber,you get the first 3 mos. of the $5/mo HD pack for free.  <br><br>As far as Directv BS price for plan plus the additional cost for HD? Do some research and you'll find that it is cheaper than the competitors along with the most HD. Do they drop this ridiculous HD programming fee or will they just raise the base price?
