DirecTV adds MSG HD, FSN NY HD
Believe it or not, it appears that DirecTV has somehow wrangled both MSG HD and FSN NY HD away from Cablevision -- or, at least they've agreed to share. Whatever the case, users across the web are now reporting that the aforementioned channels are indeed available through the satellite operator, giving Rangers, Knicks, Sabers, Devils and Islanders fans (just to name a few) a very worthwhile reason to celebrate. Two more down, lots more to go.

For a while now, Cablevision has been running ads saying they're the only service that lets New Yorkers watch all of the local teams (Giants, Jets, Knicks, Nets, Yankees, Mets, Islanders, Devils and Rangers) in HD.
Guess they'll have to stop running that ad now.
Nah, they'll just change the ad to say they are the only place you can see them in HD for no extra charge.
Welcome to last Wednesday.. I was going to submit this but figured other New Yorkers would have beat me to it. In NY this is HUGE! That was one thing Cablevision had over Directv in my eyes.
Get back to me when Cablevison lets FIOS carry MSG and FSN HD. I think that Cablevision sees Verizon as more of a threat than DirecTV
AWESOME!!
Wish this happen last year when I was watching a boat load of Knicks games
