I have a 50" vizio. The top LCD's (samsung) still can't touch even the middle plasmas for blacks and motion, i.e., movies and HDTV.
Plus, last year when I bought, everything at 50" and up was a plasma.
That new 52" sony LCD look interesting, but there's no way I'd go LCD until they get the power requirements much much lower. I just don't see the benefit of LCD unless you're using it for a computer monitor a bunch or a lot of EA games with the static logo.
