I'll second this - I'm currently HD DVD-only, and the 1.1 compatible Panasonic is the only player that catches my attention whatsoever.
Really sad that people ranked down Jay just because he has HD DVD in his name.Obviously, the PS3 fanboi base has taken over here, since I don't see any PS3 comments getting ranked down.
