I would think that one could simply go to the Comcast website, type in a street name and zip code, select any county as needed, and be told what channels are available--including filtering to see what HD channels are being offered in one's area.
While I'll admit this is the first time in seven years the local cable company has been able to do this and found everything for my zip code and county:
