What we're watching:- ABC (720p) has The Sound of Music at 8 p.m.
- NBC's (1080i) Sunday Night Football features the Colts vs. the Titans at 8:15 p.m., in a game deciding whether Tennessee or Cleveland goes to the playoffs
- ESPN-HD (720p) pits Alabama vs. Colorado in the Independence Bowl at 8 p.m.
The perfectionist in me is still miffed that ABC cropped off the sides of 'Sound of Music' as the film is, AFAIK, 2.20:1. I'm assuming that they used the recent remastered print -- the one that will be used on the upcoming Blu-ray release.
