"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
Eveb after reading all off the 'comments' on these pages, iam still, angry that the Govt. is imposing this ridiculous crap about HDTV, and 'punishing" those who do not comply...sorry to even think about this move as the first step to communism?..i could understand goverment's laws as something as "seat belts" or the smoking ban, BUT, to take our right to choose the way we "watch" TV, AND FORCES us to go and buy a pricey TV, a lot of people can even afford them, now thats going to far, into our private lives and freedom to buy a product,,,whats next? an enforced "4cyl" auto or a Hybryd...ONCE THEY START, they wint stop.....PEOPLE!!! WAKE-UP TO HE FACTS..."RED FLAG".....AND WHY are we, the American people, taking it to quietly ??????
Okay, physco...are you off your meds this fine day?
I am now really surprised that you didn't blame it on Bush or making it to be some kind of "plot" against the black folks.
I am not crazy about this whole mess either & especially that one of my local news stations has decided to count down to the day "old" tv is gone.
Since the government is involved, of course it will be a tangled mess with no one really knowing what is going on with it. It probably won't be figured out until a few months after.
