Get a clue. HD_DVD and Blu-Ray both use HDMI. So does HD Tivo and every other (recent) HD device under the sun.
Get new glasses (or hooked on phonics). I never said HD-DVD never used HDMI.
Besides, it doesn't change the fact that HDMI = Component Cables + DRM + Audio(Sometimes).
