I'm not sure I see the point of a "portable" HDTV when the vast majority of users are tied to cable systems that require STBs. What's so portable about these sets if I have to lug a 10 pound boxy boat anchor around with them? And, if used as a kitchen countertop set, who can spare the countertop space required for said boat anchor? I'll just wait until these small sets accept cablecard.
