"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
I'm thrilled with the specs on this unit. I'm one of those people that the rainbow effect of DLPs drives crazy. Also, the lens shift & zoom range of all DLPs that I've seen take them off the list for my room. I have to go LCD.
I'm running a Panasonic AE900 & am dying to go to 1080p. The UB is available from Visualapex.com (where I bought my Panny) for $2799 after rebate. From what I've been reading so far, it's worth the $500 premium over the old Home Cinema 1080, the Panny AE2000 and the Sanyo Z2000. Sign me up!
Plus the new panels are inorganic, so they won't degrade like the old LCD panels (mine included).
