"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
This is very intriguing, but depending on the size of the movies BD might still be the better way to go. 2TB is alot of storage, but not if the movies are >25GB a piece like on BD.....and what about backups, we don't all have 4TB (yet) dedicated to movie storage. Depending on price, it's shaping up to be an awesome way to rent movies. But like all new tech of this nature, it probably won't be offered in Canada for at least a year if ever.
