I always suggest purchasing the articulating one instead of the flush mount anyways. It can go to either side quite a ways and swivel to either side. It would have worked really well in my dad's room, but he was adamant about not wanting it. I think it was a cost thing. Now his main viewing spot is from the couch in the corner of the room, and the TV looks directly at the center wall.
