I had this on preorder and as angry as I was for it taking so long to hit retailers I'm GLAD it didn't before others got theirs. Why? Because after hearing all the problems I cancelled my preorder. It has its fair share of glitches but NO multichannel TrueHD or DTS-HD MA was the clincher. It's rumored multichannel will be available after a firmware in May, which is ridiculous even if they followed through and kept that date.
But hey, I hear they'll have a successor in October that will reportedly do what the 5000 was SUPPOSED to do. I guess they figured they could sell the 5000 and have consumers be their testers rather than pay their employees to do it in-house. BRILLIANT!
