CNN, Golf / Versus finally added to Cox's New Orleans lineup
Although Cox inked a deal to snag CNN HD (and TBS HD, mind you) some three months back, it seems as if customers in New Orleans, Louisiana are just now getting a taste. According to a tipster, Cox has just recently threw CNN and Golf / Versus into the high-definition lineup, but stations such as History Channel HD, Science HD and NHL Network HD are still sorely missing. Anyone else enjoying the (admittedly late) newcomers in the area?[Thanks, Jose R.]

im enjoying the cnn hd. love to see history hd and science Hd. Not to much of demand for NHL Hd and don't expect it to come very soon.
I have noticed for the last couple of weeks that we have had the Golf HD channel available down here in New Orleans, but I have not seen the CNN HD channel. I haven't been watching that much TV though lately. I'll check the Tivo HD when I get home.
Once again the Phoenix, AZ market is left in the dust. We are only the 5th most populous city in the nation, and yet we cannot even get a crappy news or food channel in HD. When you call and harass the customer sales people, they can't tell you when you will ever get any new channels. Good thing we all got a notice last week that Cox bundle service is going up $10. :-)
Just wanna add, that here in Hampton Roads, we dont have Science Channel HD. I see from this forum http://www.highdefforum.com/showthread.php?t=62765, well get by next month, but man, i want my SPEED HD. (Also saw somewhere, that COX wont add it until it airs Feb. 7th.. ;(
i don't understand why the Golf channel&Versus channel which are two different channels on SD are combined in HD. i hope we get USA network in HD soon because im getting back into watching wrestling and the WWF/WWE nowadays is launching WWE HD. well@least ill get the Royal Rumble in HD.
