AT&T's U-verse motors to Detroit, Michigan
For Motor City residents wondering when AT&T's U-verse would ever find its way to your neck of the woods, you can finally sleep easy knowing that it's available now. As of this week, those who call Detroit home can order up AT&T's fiber-based TV, internet and / or phone service, as it is being hailed "the first area in the nation where AT&T U-verse Voice is available." Granted, we're sure the most of ya already have the phone thing covered, but just be prepared to fend off those lightning quick "triple-play" sales pitches when you call up to order TV service exclusively.

"Detroit" is relative. I live less than one mile from the Detroit city boundary. U-verse is not available to me.
I Live in Ann Arbor (30 minutes West of Detroit) and i've had U-Verse TV and Internet for 3 months now.
I should add that the HD Image Quality is significant;y worse than the DishNetwork feed my parents get. My service is FTTN (Fiber to the Node), hopefully this means we can get FTT Premises service soon.
I've had Uverse in Westland, MI (pretty close to Dtroit) since July...this is not really new...
those of you who have ATT Uverse, do you like it? I am thinking about changing from ATT DSL and Comcast Cable to ATT Uverse for both internet and tv. What can I expect?
I live in Ann Arbor in the 48103 zip code and would
like to have ATT Uverse but upon each inquiry am told its not her. Any word on when its coming to
this part of Ann Arbor? Thanks in advance for any replies.
Installation of U-verse Monday. 3-17-08, failed tuesday, attempted repairs wednesday but fruitless, no work thursday nothing Fri, repeated calls to customer care all week lots of "will call you back" but all lies from techs in four different states Only bright spot was installer who gave me personal phone number and Friday gave me his managers number who has phoned me and and now promises to reschedule installation and return calls.
