What we're watching tonight:- ABC, CBS, NBC & Fox (and presumably CNN) are all presenting the State of the Union Address at 9 p.m.
- NBC (1080i) brings a new American Gladiators at 8 p.m.
- Fox (720p) lines up a
newold (Thanks digason!) Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles at 8 p.m. - USA Network (1080i) has WWE RAW at 9 p.m.
- ESPN2-HD (720p) kicks in the women's b-ball action with Tennessee vs. Duke at 7 p.m.
- HBO (1080i) premieres its new series In Treatment at 9:30 p.m.
The Sarah Connor Chronicles is actually a rerun of the pilot episode for those that missed it.
I am getting the State of the Union Address in the following manners OTA:
FOX: 720p ABC: 720p CBS: 1080i NBC: 1080i
Tonight is a bad example, but for other evenings, when speaking about movies, can you indicate whether the showing is OAR? I'm lazy and tired of settling in to watch a movie on a premuim channel, only to have the sides of the 2.35:1 movie chopped off to fill a 16:9 screen.
