"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
I'm not too surprised. It is easy to move product when it is sold at fire-sale prices. Just the other day my dad said he was going to buy an HD DVD player. He was not buying it for HD DVDs though, he was buying it because he needed a new DVD player and the HD DVD barely cost more then a regular DVD player and came with 3 free HD DVDs.
Exactly. Why WOULDN'T you buy an HD-DVD player at those prices? Thing is, those prices cannot be sustained for long, and retailers want to make SOME profit on the merchandise they sell.
Retailers are going to kill off HD-DVD very soon... it's already happening.
Fire sale, I'll take that, whatever, who cares, as long as the product is being moved!
I'm guessing he would rent some movies in hd dvd though....and if univ and parm stay hd dvd i would guess he might buy 1 every now and then.
And thats all hd dvd needs
I've been thinking of picking up a hd dvd player for netflix myself. I would never buy a title though.
It still cracks me up that player price is supposed to be a factor. Oh yeah I want to hook up a $99 HD DVD to my $3000 TV give me a freakin' break.
