I've been an avid TiVo fan since 1999 (analog, series 1), moving up to 3 TiVos.
It's funny; my wife "indulged" me, letting me buy an expensive "toy" -- we had 2 VCR's, and that let us "time-shift" shows by ourself.
I bought the S1 TiVo, and I SWEAR -- a week later, my wife (a non-techie pre-school teacher) was SO TAKEN by the TiVo, that if she would have divorced me (a week later!), she would have taken the TiVo with her!
So, now, we are still using SD DirecTV; we moved from the analog to DTV in 2004, and now have 3 TiVos. We both would rather sacrifice HD or DirecTV than lose TiVo.
“While it's not exactly punching it out with the heavyweights in multi-room audio, the Mint Studio does certainly hold its own with many similarly-priced iPod docks out there.”
