Warner's 2008 Blu-ray release plan

Now that Warner (somehow related to Engadget) has dedicated its movies to Blu-ray, they're getting serious about delivering and it all starts with a plan. Of course as we know all too well, thing don't always go according to plan -- you know like HD DVD's that are supposed to be delayed by three weeks showing up on stores shelves. Anyways, the plan for '08 is to release a Blu-ray disc day and date with every new release, and every DVD special edition. At the same time Warner is planning on catching Blu-ray up to HD DVD with some of their most sought after titles including, Batman Begins (Q3), V for Vendetta and yes of course The Matrix trilogy-- no dates on these, just another promise of "this year."
You really are something else. In the very first sentence of your first link it says HD DVD captured 33% of standalone sales with their recent firesale. So Toshiba are literally giving the things away with 7 movies and they still can't muster 1/3 of sales. And those figures do not count PS3 sales either.
Nfinity there is something seriously wrong with you. Your posts border on the delusional and I have to question how anyone could invest so much of their sanity in a moribund video format.
Again, your delusions are getting the better of you. Most of the points in the article apply equally to HD DVD. It also has this interesting thing to say at the bottom: "But as with all of the items above, the conclusion comes with a big caveat of its own: the Sony PlayStation 3. It's the only player that's futureproof, it doubles as a top-notch game machine and network digital media streamer, and it's readily available for $400. Oh--it also happens to be a great Blu-ray player, and it does a fine job of upconverting your standard DVDs to high-definition resolutions. As such, it remains the exception to the rule, and the only Blu-ray player that we can enthusiastically recommend for the time being."
So you've cited an article that largely applies to HD DVD (if HD DVD were a viable alternative) and then goes on to recommend buying a PS3. That's some great work there Lou.

Maybe we should start a petition to ban Nfinity? His childish posts are making this blog unbearable.
