TWC adds Weather Channel HD and FOX Business HD in San Antonio, Texas
Nary four months after Time Warner Cable dished out four new HD offerings to subscribers in San Antonio, Texas, the cable operator has decided to loose a couple more for these very folks to enjoy. Effective immediately, customers in the area can tune into The Weather Channel HD and FOX Business HD on channels 136 and 154, respectively. With these two additions, Time Warner now has 42 high-definition channels in the region alongside eight HD movie on-demand channels and 112 HD on-demand titles -- not too shabby, eh? [Disclosure: Engadget is part of the Time Warner family]

why dont they try rolling that out nationwide. columbus ohio gets fucked
Before comcast took over for them in Houston this summer all they gave us were locals we were neglected so I still hold that against us then now we have like 20 but I still feel neglected.
hmmm... let's see, 42 HD channels in San Antonio and no new channels in Columbus, OH in the past year. Couldn it have anything to do with FIOS? Nothing like a little competition to get TWC to open their wallet.
Tis is so not fair NYC is a huge market and we get squat from TWC.
42 in San Antonio and only 12 (13 if you count HD movies on demand) in Corpus Christi, TX...
Actually Corpus Christi has 11. 12 if you include Hd movies on demand and 16 if you get the premiums. But it really doesn't matter because we need more hd channels down here.
how about LOS ANGELESSSSSSSSSSS !!!!!!
Am I the only one getting sick of these stories on EngadgetHD? They seem like filler on a slow news day. Not fun to read.
I enjoy seeing when other cities get new channels on cable... I hear ya Columbus folk. Dayton is in the same boat.
Really? Is that why you read an HD site? To hear about little regional HD pickups? Cause I don't.
Great. The Weather Channel in HD...as if getting hit with flash floods and tornadoes didn't have enough definition for you.
when i went to SA's Timewarner cables site i could only find something like 20 that are not PayPer view or something like NHL or NBA Hd stuff. so while they might have 42 thats almost as missleading as when direct tv said they had 100 hd stations and they were counting local and payperview in that number.
