I signed up for Verizon FIOS on 10/15/07 as one of their first customers in Pittsburgh. Dumped Comcast and haven't looked back. Better service, better performance, much faster Internet (especially upload speed), less compression artifacts, and lower price. And, our system was the first all-digital system Verizon installed. It's not all over Pittsburgh yet, but it is available in the So. Hills suburbs of Pittsburgh. Competition is Great!
