I'll buy some gems. I've always wondered why people thought just because a format didn't make it the media wasn't good. I've never had a consolidated library across one format. Tapes/CD, VHS/DVD co-existed fine for years. The movie isn't going to look any better on Blu-ray so I may as well take advantage of significant price savings.
The X-Fi3 keeps with the company's commitment to audio fidelity, thanks to the apt-X codec, which supposedly offers audio quality similar to a wired connection when streaming. On that front, the device also handles FLAC files.
