Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
you've been able to get several of these on half.com for these prices for months. BR has has b1g1's for months too. why do these pricing promotions make the news?
Because in this case it brings forth yet another perception of a fire sale in response to HD DVD's upcoming demise and acts as a rallying call to the BD crowd to do more of their "Death to HD DVD! Death to HD DVD!" chanting. In fairness, it also does help the HD DVD supporters to get as many discs as possible before the format caves in, but I sincerely doubt that THAT is the main reason.
Admittedly, though, those are some *really* good prices for those who have HD DVD players.
I'm guessing that as this is a new promotion, it's "news". If a promotion has been going on "for months" as you say, then why would it be newsworthy?
