HD will remain niche for a long time... Look at DVD-Audio and SACD. For the mass market the cost/benefit ratio doesn't make sense.Most people are happy with a free sub-DVD quality DivX file, and won't even pay DVD prices anymore.I think less than half the DVD catalog will ever be released in HD, so how can sales ever exceed DVD?
