What other options are out there to stream music through out the house to different stereos, all from a PC that can be controlled remotely?
I have a Netgear MP101 but it doesn't like Vista and is flakey when used wirelessly. I'm looking for something that doesn't need a full monitor, but comes with a small LCD to select songs. I would prefer it to be able to sync with other devices so the bedroom, living room, porch, and basement can all have the same song going.
3rd... Roku's Soundbridge (I am not sure if it is Pinacle's nowadays)
Lame option Apple Airtunes (with Airport Express) and this Sony thing
If you have enough money to get the initial bundle right away, try Sonos. I am a Sony's backer, but I have tried previous DLNA options from them and they were really poor. I won't put money behind this one until I see a really advantage to SONOS
Now that we've thrown 'em off the trail, use the form below to get in touch with the people at Engadget. Please fill in all of the required fields because they're required.
