Mvix intros MX-780HD wireless HD media streamer
Maybe it's just us, but here recently it feels as if there's been quite the outpouring of HD media streamers. Next up is Mvix's MX-780HD, which doesn't innovate much in the design department, but does include space for your own HDD along with support for wired Ethernet or 802.11b/g/n WiFi. Best of all, you'll find 1080p output via HDMI, and there's file support for DivX, XviD, AVI, MPEG, WMV, ASF, AAC, OGG, AC3, MP3, WMA, JPEG and lots, lots more. There's also component outs and coaxial / optical audio ports, but we're still teetering on whether that cute LCD on the front makes this thing a bargain at $299.99.

How am I supposed to watch HD movies on that little LCD?
You don't, you stream media from your PC to your TV.
Nice one.
I read alot about this product online, and i had lots of expectations till i have pruchase one and the result is SO BAD.
I do not know who did the engineering on this device, but it seems like very nice idead put together and whoever engineer them is very bad.
First Impression: Once you connect any Video Cable and disconnect it, even if the device is off the power you have to do Hard Reset, other wise the device want work.
Second Impression: HDMI singal although its there however i couldnt get it to work on my Plasma "Panasonic" or LCD (Sanyo) there is always error saying no signal?
Aspect Ratio: 16:9, and stretched, however when i connected my external HDD with riped DVD and played it using the S-Video the image was so small, although i changed the aspect ration and choosed the stretched, still it shows the small video size.
Reseting device also is pain, you have to take the device of the power for minimum 15 minutes and try pressing 3 buttoms, and if it didnt work you have to wait for another 15 minutes.
Conclution: wait guys for the device to be fixed from bugs, idea wise its good, however technical problems will never let you injoy it.
