Comcast bringing ABC Family HD / Disney Channel HD to Seattle market
We know, it's growing harder and harder to wait for the half dozen new HD channels to hit Seattle, Washington on March 4th, but maybe this will make things easier (or not). Reportedly, Comcast is getting set to toss in two more high-def options on that fateful day: Disney Channel HD and ABC Family HD. Unfortunately, we've no idea if these two will spread to any other Comcast markets, but there's no harm in hoping, eh?[Thanks, Daniel H.]

I posted that news 10 days ago-but thanks for mentioning it. Glad to have Seattle Comcast. Free On Demand HD FTW
I recieved that promo in the mail. They are not actually being added that day because they are not launched. They are simply saying coming soon and soon for comcast is not son enough
too bad I don't care for any of those channels
OK I have to say this news pissed me off. I live in a Comcast market with a grand total of 16 HD channels and to increase it to 18 with these two channels makes no sense. Not because I couldn't care less about the Standard Def version of these channels but in 2 weeks I haven't seen a single show or MOVIE broadcast in HD. Even movies that are fairly new are broadcast in 4X3 Aspect Ratio and as far as I can tell they are only upscaled SD signals. WASTE OF BAND WIDTH!!!
