I'd rather pay a few extra bucks for a slighter thicker set if had a better picture quality. It wouldn't be good for my setup (mounted to a steel spine attached to my A/V shelves. sexy)    And it DEFINATELY wouldn't be stable/heavy enough for non-mounted standing.
