What parts of HDDVD and Blu are common? I assume that some of it is,
usable chips, etc., but I too doubt that they are worth $190 to BD
manufacturers, with entire HDDVD players selling for under that. The
decode circuitry in basic HD standalones isn't much more than $100,
right? ...considering price differences between players and 5.25"
drives.
