No. Digital Copy is NOT tied to iTunes. How many times does this have to be reiterated?
I own the Family Guy: Blue Harvest DVD and Digital Copy comes with WMP and iTunes capability. In fact, the Mac users can't even use the Digital Copy disc (yes, it is a separate DVD, which means the main release can be on Blu-Ray) and have to just download the entire file from the iTMS.
I suggest, Richard, that you guys send an intern down to Target or Best Buy and pick up one of those releases so you know how the system works.
@John Anderson: Sorry to be contrary, but it's correct for me at least. I just double-checked my Blue Harvest disc and there is a code for downloading the the episode from the iTMS. Even the Digital Copy disc points me to the iTMS front page for Blue Harvest.
You put the DC disc in your MacBook and it opened in iTunes and put the episode in there?

That is incorrect. I bought Blue Harvest, and the Digital Copy worked out of the box with no problems at all on my Macbook.
