You can call their serivce "shady" all you want, but I've never had a problem with Comcast that couldn't be resolved in one phone call.

FCC limits ownership of markets to prevent monopolies.... Comcast is somewhat of a monopoly, but people in Comcast markets have a choice on who they want their TV/Phone/Internet services from. Almost everyone can get Dish or DirecTV, OTA is an option, and FiOS or U-Verse are options too. The FCC needs to lighten up now because just because one cable company owns a large number of markets doesn't mean everyone in that market is using their services.
