theres definetly a tortise and the hare reference to be made her considering HD-DVD had all o' dis from day one, im not going to make it though cause im obviously an HD-DVD fan.
Yes hd-dvd had this from day one. Believe me, all blu-ray fans are well aware of it, and if we weren't, there were always some fanboys to remind us. It never bothered me though, because I mainly want the movie with the best picture and sound, and that made me happy. I am, however excited for the update to be able to play all of the coming discs with bd-live features. I hope they do more intuitive things, some of the ones I saw with hd-dvd over at a friends house were pretty poor excuses for internet extras. I rmember one on Chuck and Larry where you can shop for items from Universal. Guess I prefer me computer for shopping.
While I am excited about this update, I am disappointed they didn't include an upgrade for DTS MA decoding.

Don't talk nonsense. HD DVD's features pale in comparison to what BD-J can do.
