It would be a great thief deterrent, as dumb a$$ criminals won't be able to find your nicely hidden LCD/Plasma. Rather than a cabinet mine hides in a large antique steamer trunk, it's controlled by my Harmony 880 as well. It's handy to hide your TV when you're away on vacation or have kids with messy hands pawing at the screen.

Martin

Comments on Draper introduces new FlatScreen Lift to conceal your HDTV

Robber 1: Do you see a TV?
Robber 2: Nope.
Robber 1: Lets get out of here.

Galicki

Comments on Draper introduces new FlatScreen Lift to conceal your HDTV

Robber 1: Do you see all those high end components on that shelf.
Robber 2: Yep.
Robber 1: Let's take those instead.

cadsystems
