That makes me sound very nonchalant about the existence of the HD-PVR. Thats not the case. I think its going to be a killer product for north america. My comment was intended to convey that Im not using the HDPVR on a daily basis - primarily because here in New Zealand all our HD channels are received free to air (unencrypted) via DVB-T, so there is no need for this sort of product in our market. All of our highdef channels directly can be received using a product like the Hauppauge HVR3000 etc.
