I wonder what the lens is like... that means so much more then just resolution.
You're right that lens is important, more important than resolution. The sensor size is also more important than resolution, and I think a 2/3" sensor is better than you can get under $10k in a video camera.
It would be nice if they made this thing have some resemblance of a comfortable grip. Maybe that's another add-on.
