Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
I'm surprised its taking Sony so long to get video downloads sorted out. The PS3 has had pretty robust crypto & DRM since the beginning to limit plays, duration of content so the pieces are already there in the client side. All that is missing is the actual delivery platform.
Maybe they intend to do a deal with Amazon or someone for their service. To me that would make more sense in some ways since it immediately gets them in the game and relieves Sony of the pressure of the contractual hell, QoS etc. that must come with movie downloads.
