One thing you should also know about the HDHR is that you get two tuners. So, I thought I'd let you know what I have under Vista x64 (and works).  I'm using the Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-1800.  I haven't had a single problem with it and it fits nicely into that lonely PCIe X1 slot.  I'm using it for OTA HD signals and it was also previously connected to a DirecTV SD box (for the NTSC side).  <br><br>I just use Media Center included with Vista and the latest drivers from Hauppauge. They don't work if you have more than 3gb of ram, completly defeating the purpose of using a 64bit operating system. MPEG-2 encoding built-in works great and really takes the load off the CPU. I have the USB version cause i have notebooks. I think the pci version is more diesel cause it has more chips. Works perfect with Vista x64, except when I bring my computer to standby mode (for some strange reason that might be related to my motherboard); every day it wakes up my computer from Hibernation mode to record my favorite TV shows. Note that here I use the latest FusionHDTV software rather than the Vista Media Center software - FusionHDTV, with some downloadable plugin, can record to native MPEG-2 format (.MPG) which I can later play on CyberLink PowerDVD Ultra which is the best DVD/Blu-ray playback software ever. I'm using it with regular 32-bit Vista though. The product page at Amazon.com says it "comes with Microsoft Vista and MCE certified BDA drivers, which work flawlessly with Microsoft Vista" but doesn't say anything about 32 or 64 bit versions. You can also get a PCIe version. That input is totally nonfunctional, even though the product clearly advertises that feature.
