I took a brief look at U-Verse, and according to the listed specifications, their DVR will let you record/watch FOUR(!) channels at once. Of course, when you get to the detail that actually means only a single HD channel (and up to 3 SD channels) at once. I rarely bother with SD anymore, so that's a no go. With Cox, I can be recording two HD channels while watching a third. No contest there!
