Actually, many people commonly mistake the Roanoke/Lynchburg market as smaller than it actually is... actually, Richmond is not that much larger. Just to put it in perspective according to Neilson... Richmond is only 8 spots higher, coming in at 59, compared with Roanoke/Lynchburg's 67.
And also to note...WSLS News Channel 10 broke into the HD ground in 2007.... so it's a shame that "Virginia's Most Watched News Station" (WDBJ7) took so long to get their broadcast up to snuff.
