ESPN makes known Euro 2008 broadcast schedule
For folks across the pond, catching all 31 UEFA Euro 2008 matches in high-def shouldn't be an issue, and thanks to ESPN / ABC, doing so here in the US won't be either -- well, almost. The network(s) have just released their broadcast schedules for Euro 2008, which is schedule to start on June 7th (ESPN Classic) and conclude on June 29th (ABC HD). Out of the 31 total tilts, 26 of 'em will be readily available on either ESPN HD, ESPN2 HD or ABC HD, and all but the two ABC matchups will also be available via ESPN360. Who says there's no good football in June?

Well, considering that Engadget HD is almost all yankee-central, don't you think you should have used "soccer" instead of "football" in that last sentence, otherwise some distraught Patriots fan might get his hopes up high :)
Folks across the pond only in Austria.
United Kingdom looking like the only way to get ITV's games is through freesat yet there is 500,000 SKY HD users.
Total utter cop out just like the World Cup.
One hopes that by the time ref blows the whistle to start the first game ITV will be on Freesat. BBC HD is already there and I can bet my bottom pound they'll simulcast their share of the games in HD
thank you jesus for this tiny miracle!!
i watched 2004 in HD on comcast ... but it was on 2 week delay. that would normally work out fine since no one in america ever talks about soccer games. but i went to a redneck family reunion ... and one of my aunts had married a frenchman ... he let slip who won ... and then i had to spend the rest of the day contemplating suicide while eating potato salad
