That's good you say that. Because that's how it works with BluRay. Just put it in and go. 1.0 players will play all discs, same with 1.1, same with 2.0.
And if you want to distinguish between them anyway, there are the names "BD-Extra" and "BD-Live" instead of 1.1 and 2.0.
