Comcast adds three HD channels in Jersey Shore
Yep, Comcast has added in three new HD nets along the New Jersey shore, and we're giving you exactly one guess as to which three we're talking about. ABC Family HD (195), Disney HD (239) and Science HD (194) were just added in Ocean and Monmouth counties (you did get that correct, right?), and we have a sneaking suspicion they'll be reaching other systems very, very shortly. Where will they end up next? Stay tuned, it's sure to be a thriller.[Thanks, Joe]

I also just got these channels in Germantown, MD yesterday.

We just got these plus food network, and hgtv in colorado springs the other day. Should get more in like 60 days. I wish the roll out was more consistent.
Who the Frak wants SCIHD. GIVE ME MY SCI-FI HD PLEASE!!! Also FamilyHD the is so much better ones. We in Gloucester County are so neglected.
We are getting Disney HD and ABC Family HD, plus Logo, on May 22nd in Memphis, TN. We are losing a bunch of West Coast HBO, Cinemax, Showtime, TMC and Starz channels, including HBO West HD, though, plus Oxygen and WE are moving from Analog to Digital.
I wish they could add Science HD and a couple more, though...
I live in Beachwood (just south of Toms River) in Ocean County and we did not get these channels as promised. I also checked on a TV in Toms River, which also did not get the update. I watch the Science Channel quite often, and am dissapointed we seemed to have gotten shafted.
Boo, Comcast. Come on FIOS, you're just around the corner!
I had gotten a list of channels that Union County was suppose to get last night, including USA HD, Sci Fi HD, etc. I read elsewhere on this site that it was an internal planning document. I am really ticked off and cannot wait until Verizon FIOS is available in the area because when it is, I am done with ComCRAP!!!
This is great every comcast customer get's new HD channels except for north jersey. If I had the option to get satallite I would jump at the offer in a second. I always thought Cablevision was terrible but I think comcast has surpassed them.
I'm in Bayville, in Ocean County and we are not receiving any of these channels yet...although ever since they added SciFiHD I honestly could care less about any other channels being added!
I live in Ocean County and can't wait to go home and see if I got the goods.
If not, Comcast can sit on my frakkin deek.
I thought that on 5/15 those of us in north jersey were supposed to get 9 new hd channels?...way to drop the ball comcast.
I'm in Eatontown in Monmouth County and I didn't get these either.
Hey, it's me again. A few things have changed since that doc was posted here...
NJ II withdrew that doc and came back to me saying no new channels are on the horizon.
The 3 channels added were for the Storer Cable systems, which had some extra room. The Suburban Cablevision systems do not have the room at the moment.
