For those with DISH Network, chances are you've
already realized that World Fishing Network HD joined the lineup this past Monday. Nevertheless, the channel -- along with Insight Sports -- is eager for the world to know that WFN HD has indeed landed a carriage agreement on the aforementioned satcaster. In case you couldn't guess from the channel's name, it promises to deliver 24 / 7 fishing action, including shows like Dave Mercer's Facts of Fishing, The New Fly Fisher, Fishing the Flats, Fins N' Skins Classic Adventures and George Poveromo's Saltwater Fishing. Never mind buying a rod and reel -- just kick back and watch the real anglers do it.
Next up: Growing Grass HD
Naw, the VOOM channels were removed.
Next few HD channels to roll out on Dish Network:
Growing Grass HD (kcmurphy88)
Trailer Park Trash HD
Breastfeeding HD
Sweatshops HD
The Water Closet HD
Help bring back VOOM!

i have flipped by there 20 or so times since Dish laid this garbage on us and have yet to see any HD content.
Guess I got spoiled watching VOOM in 1080i, no commercials, unstretched, 24/7. I was hoping that Dish would have turned on some more HD channels by now since they have all of the VOOM bandwidth to spare.
I have to say, when I stood up for getting rid of the VOOM channels to make room for new better channels, this wasn't at all what I was referring to. This might in fact be even worse.

"MIGHT" be worse?
No dude it IS. Even the biggest Voom hater out there can't possibly say this is justified.
Tony, I'd watch any of your suggestions before a *fishing* channel!!
"Growing Grass HD (kcmurphy88)
Trailer Park Trash HD
Breastfeeding HD
Sweatshops HD
The Water Closet HD"
Bring back some more music!!
Having HD channels that are only 50% HD is like selling a pint of beer with half a pint of water in it! Which if I'm not mistaken is illegal..
How can Dish claim they're providing HD when it's not all there??
