also talk about lame. 2,000:1 contrast? come on. they can do better then that.
A genuine 2000:1 contrast ratio is pretty decent for an LCD TV display, even if it isn't that great a contrast ratio in itself per se.
That is providing that is a real measured actual contrast ratio and not that worthless advertsing BS the 'dynamic contrast ratio', of course.
If they had used 'dynamic ratio then they could probably have lied about having a 10,000:1 - 30,000:1 or some such other nonsense as many LCD companies currently do
(which if you check with a reputable reviewing organisation who do the real measurement turns out to be a true 800:1 - 1400:1).
