It's really quite stunning the technology Microsoft and ATI have engineered. Six CableCARDS in one box, recordinng six HD shows at once and presumably can extend those out to six extender devices, all while maintaining full fidelity and low CPU usage on the host PC.
I mean, what else out there can even get close to this?
And did I mention this is all with the best user interface in the industry and no monthly fees (beyond the rental of the CableCARDs)?
Why people still pay for TiVo boggles my mind.
