That's good news in general. I don't know if this is a burner too but $140 bucks for an HD drive is not too bad though I already gotten just recently HD DVD reader/ Blu-Ray burner combo drive for $170. retail Blu-ray video disc business as far as I'm concerned.<br><br>But I mean burners not ROM drives.<br><br>If a $100 = £50 reliable Blu-ray multi-burner is on the cards I might even be interested......<br><br>.......provided they can get the 50gb DL media reliable enough & out at a decent price.<br><br>Right now tho DVD & HDDs are a far more cost effective solution <br>and besides putting more movie files on the 1 disc or burning downloaded high def that's larger than a DVD9 to a single larger disc I really have no need for any of it right now point out that Blu-ray media is still laughably expensive.<br><br>It's way too 'negative' for some to make the accurate & totally true point that HDDs & 'ordinary' DVD are still by far the least expensive storage option.<br><br>Here in the UK it's £71.82 ($145) for a Verbatim 10 pack of x4 25gb discs with jewel case.<br><br>A single TDK 50gb DL disc is £26.22 ($53).<br>A single Sony 50gb DL disc is £19.70 ($40)<br><br>A single Verbatim x4 25gb disc is £6.58 ($13)<br>A single Sony x2 25gb disc is £10.88 ($21)<br><br><a
