The only thing I find funny is how now people are referring to Weinstein as a big hollywood studio and when they were with HD DVD, they were really NOTHING and completely irrelevant.
It's pretty silly and telling of the mindset that a lot of fans have.

if by "people" you actually mean "nobody"...yes you are very correct.
they're are the last piece of the puzzle. not even one of the important border pieces, just some random piece w/ generic scenery on it, nothing more
I think you have problems remembering the yelling and screaming of Blu-Ray fanbots when anyone supporting HD DVD mentioned Weinstein.. then the studio was nothing.. small.. insignificant..
Ah how fast you forget.. or you pretend you can't remember.
Weinstein has a nice catalog of titles. Such as 1408, Lucky Number Slevin, The Mist, Clerks II, and others, all of which can be bought on HD DVD. (1408 has to be imported, but it is well worth the money.)
I suggest you take a step back, take a deep breath, and move on. I own over 100 HD DVDs, but that doesn't mean I'm not going to move foward and start a Blu-ray collection.
Just move on. You'll feel much better, and you won't be all frustrated every time studios sign to distribute Blu-rays.
I think it's funny that you didn't read what Ben wrote: "the big studio that everyone seems to forget". Meaning technically they're a big studio, but nobody cares about what they produce. I mean seriously, have you looked through their catalog? It's a "who's who" of "who cares?"....
how approapriate..I'm guessing you are a huge PS3 Metal Gear Solid fan.
Oh I'm well over it.. I'm just saying how hypocritical people are .. that's all..
I just hate when people forget what retarded statements Blu-Ray fans were spouting and now are all playing dumb as if nothing was said, that's all.
I hate that in people in general. It's lame and juvenile practice.
I have huge collection of both formats.. but I have stopped buying.. it's too much.. the prices are too high, movies being released SUCK for the most part and there are quite a few more appealing technologies coming out and much much cheaper prices that might offer similar quality in the upcoming period. I'm just gonna sit and wait for these biggest Blu-Ray fanboys to drive the prices down before I start buying again.
I mean at least, you should put your money where you mouth is.
“An engineer explained to us that hundreds of ear impressions were gathered in the name of research, and while each one obviously boasted its own unique shape and size, one single characteristic remained uniform across the board: the entrance into the ear canal is not a perfect circle, it's an oval.”

EDIT: maybe I was a bit too harsh....all of their catalog except three of the four LiqwidZero mentioned.
