Movie cameras are normally 24 frames per second. Stuff for TV or shot in digital is usually captured at 30 or 60 frames per second... so this is indeed a lot quicker.

just to confirm normal movie cameras record at 35 or 38 fps right? so 8000fps would be a MASSIVE difference
